In the year 2020, people have seemingly abandoned the longer form of “blogging” that was far more popular only about 5-8 years ago in favor of services like Twitter or Facebook. I was guilty of this up until now and wasted countless hours on these platforms scrolling through content and getting into petty arguments with people who did not matter. Switching back to a blog-style format gives me my time back from the timesuck that is Twitter and Facebook as well as giving me a structured place to post my thoughts for myself and to share with the few people who actually care to read them.

Since it is 2020 and the online “cancel mobs” like to come after people who express thoughts and views they don’t agree with, I want to state that I solely run this blog. Anything said on this blog is my personal opinion and does not reflect the views of my employer or even any companies that I own or that I am involved in.

With that disclaimer out of the way, let me tell you what my goal of this blog is. I am going to use it to write out thoughts I have to get them off my mind, post some geeky technical things, and anything else that strikes inspiration to write. I have a contact form on the home page of this site as well as comments on the posts themselves, so if something I wrote about makes you want to speak up about it or talk to me about it, then shoot me a message. I try to keep an open mind about things, so if I missed something in a post or you have something to add, let me know!

If you’re here reading this, I want to say thank you for taking the time to read what I have posted, and I hope you stick around to see future posts and content here.
